BFG Vault
It is understood that the high level security vault at UAC's Weapons Research Laboratories, which has developed the BFG mark
II, has been breached and infested by the hellspawn. The mark II BFG is twice as powerful as the original weapon, and if the
creatures discover how it works, then they will be able to alter it for themselves as a means with which to wipe out mankind.
The last known location of the BFG mark II is in a small room inside the UAC vault.
Your Mission: To retrieve the BFG mark II and exterminate the hellspawn.

UAC Bunker
CLASSIFIED - TOP SECRET
From: General Chiefs of Staff, Earth Federation Pentagon,
Washington D.C.
To: Any authorised marine willing to take the job
Date: 22nd October 2097
The information that you are about to read is absolutely top secret, and will rock the Earth Federation to its very core if
any word of this gets out.
BRIEFING
As you may well know, ever since the invasion of the hellspawn, extreme precautions were taken to defend the leaders of our
great global democracy from any Threat forces sent out by the overlords of these evil aliens.
One such facility was the bunker, built by United Aerospace Corporation on behalf of the Earth Federation government, to
house the five leaders of the continents of the world, should any invasion take place to threaten them.
The official headquarters of the Earth Federation, the original seat of power for these leaders, has long since been infested
and destroyed by the hellspawn. The bunker itself, located about 250 miles north-north-west of the original headquarters in
Washington D.C., and about 50 metres deep, was by human standards (and by human estimates of the alien's strength) impervious
to attack from the surface.
The five leaders of the planet have since lived underground in the bunker, perfectly prepared to wait there until the
destruction of the hellspawn by our best fighting forces, until which time they will emerge to the surface and lead our
people to a new and better protected world.
Built alongside the bunker was a vault which was used to store top-secret information relating to the bunker's plans and the
information regarding who should rightfully succeed the five leaders, should they not survive. This was intended to prevent
chaos and destruction as well as perversion of the Federation's ideals should the heirs of the leadership not be known and
any unjust persons appoint themselves leaders. All this information is stored on a small computer.
Access to the bunker from the surface is achieved by a lift inside a structure which has four six-metre thick heavy duty
steel doors at the entrance before the lift, and one after the lift. Each of these require special non-standard digital keys
before they will open, and they all have to be activated in a special order which changes at every use. This arrangement
makes it virtually impossible for anyone to enter the bunker who doesn't know the key code algorithm.
A little over a week ago, Sat-Scan detected a massive earthquake emanating from the exact position of the bunker. The only
fault line known of in the region was previously minor enough to be of little concern, but this sudden shock has surprised
even our most gifted of geologists. They have come to the conclusion that only a detonation of several tons of dynamite over
the fault could cause such an earthquake.
Federal Intelligence suggests that the explosion was caused by the hellspawn in a deliberate attempt to infiltrate the bunker
from the surface, and Sat-Scan confirms their prediction by the detection of a huge crevice in the ground at the exact
position of the bunker.
Regional reports have also detected massive amounts of activity in the bunker. Federal intelligence suggests that these may
be the same hellspawn that set off the earthquake. The patterns of movement suggest that the hellspawn have been trying to
get the computer themselves, but they have so far failed. There is little hope that the leaders have survived.
Your mission, should you accept it, is to infiltrate the bunker, rescue the leaders (if any of them are still alive),
exterminate the hellspawn as retaliation against their vile deed and most important of all, retrieve the computer.
Good Luck!
